Guided Mountain Hikes
I provide guided mountain hikes and walks in the Bannau Brycheiniog (Brecon Beacons), Eryri (Snowdonia) and further afield upon request, I can also offer bespoke routes to suit your needs.
You can hire me for the day or multiple days either 1:1 or as a group up to 6 people to lead you safely around the mountains showcasing the very best the outdoors has to offer with lesser known routes and expert local knowledge to make for an informative and educational experience.
NAVIGATION & mOUNTAIN sKILLS
Are you a novice walker looking to learn navigation skills and confidence in the hills? Maybe you’re an experienced walker looking to improve your navigation and move away from reliance on digital devices.
I run introduction to navigation & Mountain skill courses. These are available 1:1 or in groups as workshops.
Bespoke courses can be arranged for specific needs or goals that you may be working towards.
Wild Camping Experiences
Do you want to sleep under the stars in the impressive backdrop of deep valleys and beautiful mountain peaks? Join a wild camp experience to gain the skills and confidence to go out alone whilst being able to stay safe and camp responsibly.
Join me in idyllic surroundings away from overcrowded hotspots and find the ultimate solitude in beautiful mountainous settings.
About me:
I’m Simon Lago and I am a qualified Mountain Leader currently based in the heart of the Bannau Brycneiniog (Brecon Beacons) National Park, providing guided hikes, navigation & mountain skills courses, wild camp experiences and more in the outdoors!
My passion in life is the great outdoors! You’ll often find me walking, climbing, wild camping sometimes even caving!
There is nowhere I feel more at home than in the stunning backdrops of beautiful mountains and rocky coastlines. I love to share my knowledge and interests with others with all things outdoor related.
